A house can’t be a home when everything is picked out of a catalogue. These mass produced pieces can be beautiful, however they miss a sense of warmth, a soul and most importantly a story. We set out to re-imagine the relationship with our interior.
How ? Go back to the essentials. What you need has to be beautiful but also practical. We select our pieces based on quality, material, texture and color. Each individual element is important and if you can check-off each of those boxes it should be the perfect piece for you.
Our collection is vast and eclectic. We offer you many different styles of furniture and decorative pieces. However we believe the whole makes sense due to the chosen natural materials and timeless designs. Combining all of these unique and individual items tells who you are. Why shouldn't be your interior be a reflection of yourself?

Our Story
Early 2019 V.A.Antiquités started out selling 18th century furniture and decorative items. The focus started on antique pieces that survived the ages and still look great. The search on how these pieces from the past still had or could have their place in our present homes and interiors.
Our interest in these early pieces formed the basis for (RE)APPROVED by V.A.Antiquités. During our search for historical pieces we often came across 20th century design and weren’t able to resist their charm and quality. We started an eclectic mix which was purified bit by bit.
In 2021, we started our store in the Historic city center of Antwerp. Here we specialize in 1960s and 70s vintage design pieces. From Scandinavian classics to local Belgian design. Eclectic and unique pieces connected by the warmth and timelessness of the materials.
The future is vintage.
