An iconic Italian lounge chair from the Amanta collection, designed by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia in the 1970s. A distinctive example of Italian modernist design, combining generous comfort with a bold, sculptural silhouette.
The chair features its original black leather upholstery, beautifully aged with a natural patina that enhances its authentic vintage character. The generously padded seat and softly tufted backrest create an inviting, relaxed appearance, while the low proportions and rounded forms reflect the innovative approach to seating design of the period.
The upholstered elements rest within a contrasting light-coloured moulded frame, a characteristic feature of Bellini's Amanta design. Its modular concept and carefully considered construction combine functionality with a strong architectural presence.
Preserved in original vintage condition, with minor signs of age and use consistent with its history. A timeless and highly recognisable piece of Italian design, equally appealing as a standalone lounge chair or combined with other Amanta elements. Floor lamp sold separately.
