An elegant and rare early example of the round dining table designed by Hans J. Wegner for Fritz Hansen, part of the iconic Heart series. A beautiful expression of Danish modernism, combining refined craftsmanship with a timeless, understated aesthetic.
The table features a perfectly proportioned circular top in teak wood, combining solid teak and veneer, supported by a distinctive three-legged base. The slender, gently tapered legs and subtle detailing create a light, almost floating appearance while maintaining a strong architectural presence.
Its warm, natural wood tones and beautifully balanced proportions highlight Wegner’s exceptional understanding of materials and form. The minimalist construction allows the character of the teak to take centre stage, making this table equally appealing in contemporary and classic interiors.
A particularly desirable early original example of Scandinavian design, celebrated for its elegant simplicity, functional character and enduring appeal.
Dimensions; 120 × 120 × 72 cm
