Iconic pair of Amanta lounge chairs designed by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia during the 1970s, a celebrated example of Italian Space Age design combining sculptural forms with exceptional comfort.
The chairs feature distinctive low-slung silhouettes with generously cushioned seats and backrests, supported by their original off-white moulded plastic frames. The contrast between the structured shells and soft upholstery creates a beautiful balance of architectural simplicity and inviting comfort.
Both chairs have been newly upholstered in a playful blue textile featuring fine off-white stripes and subtle dotted detailing, carefully selected to complement the original frames. The fresh upholstery brings a refined contemporary character to this timeless design.
The original frames retain an authentic vintage patina, with traces of wear consistent with their age and use.
A striking and versatile pair of Italian design classics, equally beautiful as individual lounge chairs or arranged together in a contemporary living space. Price for the set of two.
